Prana Yoga Center Infrared Heat Panels, Livestream Capabilities and Studio Update

Project Summary
When the owner of Prana Yoga Center contacted Healing Spaces Design Build, she was looking to refresh the center to set it apart from other area yoga studios and replace an out dated heating system. We suggested renovating the front reception area, hallways, bathrooms, and replacing the heating system in one studio with infrared heat to provide a heated yoga experience that was more comfortable than traditional forced-air heat used in hot yoga studios.

Construction Details
The infrared project was complex but Dennis found the most efficient and appealing work around. The studio was 1200 square feet and was fitted with twelve 8-foot infrared panels. This required a new electrical service panel, distribution, and programmable thermostats. An added challenge was an exterior wall which was insulated to minimize heat loss.
The virtual platform is a truly state of art in the fitness and wellness industry within the USA. The design and installation required a custom digital camera mount with power for ethernet and WIFI capabilities. We rewired for stage video lighting and upgraded the sound system for good tunes!

Doubled the Membership at the Yoga Studio
As a small business owner, I know for sure you must invest in your business with facility upgrades and improvements. Each year I aim for one investment or improvement so that my customers know they are getting the very best. This first project was infrared heat installation which was a gamechanger for the business. Most recently I added a Himalayan salt room for meditation and more. Those two upgrades, along with a great staff, doubled my membership.
